What We Do PDF Print E-mail

We mainly engage in:

Case Management: CAMSA has staff deployed on the frontlines of human trafficking ready to rescue and protect victims. We investigate possible trafficking cases, take the victims out of these exploitative conditions, and provide them with such needs as shelter, food, and legal assistance.

Advocacy: We actively and continually encourage government authorities to effect laws and policies that protect victims of human trafficking regionally and internationally. We use our cases as evidence that more needs to be done to protect victims, and prevent those at risk from becoming victims.

Community Organizing: We engage the community to contribute in whatever way they can, to combat human trafficking. One of our approach is to organize the community to boycott business that benefit from human trafficking, or goods produced by victims of human trafficking.

Public Relations: We employ a comprehensive system of public relations and community media to advance the anti-human trafficking cause by chronicling some of our open cases and following the events that transpire throughout our client’s ordeal. We also produce a variety of educational, outreach and PR products (brochures, blogs, web sites, and multimedia) that are distributed widely to the public, key stakeholders, and especially those at risk of being trafficked.
