Our Approach

We follow a comprehensive strategy to eliminate modern-day slavery:

·         Advocate for a victim-centered anti-human trafficking legal framework
·         Educate vulnerable populations of their rights
·         Build capacity for civil society to assist victims, monitor law enforcement, and advocate for policy changes
·         Fight human trafficking at both ends: source and destination countries"

The first CAMSA office overseas was established in April 2008 in Malaysia. So far this office has handled 30 cases of varying sizes, assisting some 3,000 guest workers.

The average cost of running an office for one year is US$50,000. This budget will cover the expenses of one full-time staff, a team of volunteers, facility rental, and operating expenses. Each individual office has the capacity to help thousands of victims of exploitation or trafficking. Using this comprehensive approach, in two years we have expanded our operation into a network of four office locations in Southeast Asia and Taiwain, helping thousands of victims and creating positive changes to government policies in the region.

With your support and involvement, together we can end modern-day slavery.
